Welcome to Table Church

We are a non-denominational community of people in Tandragee,
following Jesus and seeking to bring life and hope to our community.

What is Table?

Table is a Christian church in Tandragee.

Two tables in the Bible have had a particular impact on our choice of name.

In the Old Testament a king called David invited a vulnerable, fearful young man called Mephibosheth to sit at his table and he treated him as a son. Mephibosheth did not deserve that, but David had a call on his life to show the kindness of God to people.

In the New Testament a King called Jesus got himself into all sorts of trouble because of his table manners. He ate with the wrong sort of people as far as the religious leaders were concerned. He hung out with the broken and hopeless people and he shared life with them. No one was turned away from his table. No one.

The Heart of  Table

Praise
We are called to be a worshipping community.

Truth

God has communicated with us primarily through the Bible and we hold it in very high regard.

The messages at Table are relevant and life-giving.

Friendship

Jesus said that his followers would be identified by the love they have for each other.

People often remark about how they come to Table and are instantly struck by the sense of family, friendship and community. This is a group of people who invest in one another’s lives and listen to each other’s stories.
