Our story

Table started meeting in various locations as a Bible Study for students and young adults.
We began to meet in Tandragee in late 2015 and moved to our current premises in June 2017.

We are passionate about living every day as disciples of Jesus, walking in daily communion with God through the Holy Spirit.

We are committed to seeing renewal and revival in our town – that hearts would turn to Jesus and become fully alive in Him.

Tandragee has several other churches and we are committed to working with them for the spread of the Gospel and the good of the town.

Our focus historically has been in working with the youth of the town as well as the unchurched or de-churched.

A typical Sunday morning involves:

Fellowship – time is intentionally set aside before and after the service to allow people to build deeper relationships. Our monthly Communion Meal is another opportunity to get to know people better.

Worship – we use a mix of modern praise songs and the occasional classic hymn.

Teaching – there is an engaging Biblical message that typically lasts 30-40 minutes.

We Believe

We believe in one God, who created, sustains, rules, redeems and judges the world, and we believe in the three persons of God – Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We believe that God became a man through the virgin birth of Jesus who was fully God and fully human.

We follow Jesus, who lived in our world, died in our place, paid the penalty for our sin, defeated evil, reconciled us with God, rose from the dead and offers resurrection life. He restores and transforms broken people to be all that God intended them to be. No one can come to God and know Him other than through Jesus and it is only by grace and faith that anyone can be saved. We don’t simply believe in God or acknowledge what Jesus has done. We follow Him. That means we aim to obey His teachings and become more like Him.

We fully embrace life in the Spirit, who gives us the ability to live in a way that pleases God and empowers us to share this life and hope with others.

Regardless of their background and history, every person is made in the image of God and for that reason every life has value and deserves to experience love.

We are a worshipping community. We love God and we praise him with authenticity and passion. We also love one another and believe that community provides a powerful atmosphere of grace that brings healing and strength. Just like the tables that Jesus sat at, this is a place where everyone is welcome to share life, where a family cares for every member and where we take time listen to each other’s stories.

We believe and declare the truth of the Bible as God’s living message to us that nourishes us, speaks to us, trains us to think as God thinks and allows us to grow in our relationship with Jesus.

We prioritise prayer as a means of saying ‘Yes’ to everything that God wants to do in our lives, in our community and in our world.

We believe that the local church is the body of Christ and the means of bringing hope to the world because it is only through encountering Jesus that lives and communities can be meaningfully changed. Table is part of Jesus’ global church and we stand in unity and friendship with all who proclaim the good news of Jesus.

We believe that Jesus will return and that the dead will be raised to eternal life or eternal condemnation and that He will establish the new heaven and the new earth.
